We see therein that we see these signs appearing, where the sun is being darkened; the Sun of Righteousness which is Christ. Christ’s word is being darkened within the world as more and more laws are brought in against His word, and more and more people abandon this free gift of grace that is offered unto them, and Christ’s word is becoming less and less accepted, as the guide for our lives.

We see the moon shall cease to give the light. The moon is the Apostle Ministry teaching, for the moon receives its light only from the sun. When the sun goes down, the moon comes up and promises that a new day will dawn. The Apostle teaching must always promise that there is a new day dawning when our Lord will return. We see that is becoming less and less accepted. We see that mankind thinks that he can make the world a better place to be, that he can make the world last for ever, that he can provide the blessings that will bring about this peace and contentment: but it will never happen. It will only happen in the Kingdom of God when our Lord returns.

The stars fall from heaven. The stars are ministries throughout the world, who should only be giving heavenly teaching, but we see so many ministries today unfortunately are no longer teaching the teachings of Christ. They are introducing man’s teachings to the world, to suit their own beliefs. As we see these things coming then our Lord spoke that we should then take note. We should watch. We should observe.

We should remember that He has only just gone on a journey. He likened it unto a man who had a vineyard and he went on a journey, but he gave the power and the obligation to those whom he loves, those whom he trusts to go about and continue with this labour. We see our obligation that we must at all times not just accept the blessings, but we watch, and as we see these things happening within the world we seek the Lord and do the other thing that He said, ‘Watch and pray.’ Watch and pray lest we be found sleeping.

We must revive prayer stronger than ever within our lives as we watch the world and we review the blessings granted unto us. The writers of the Book of Hebrews gave some good advice on where these blessings come from and how we should continue to receive those blessings. In Hebrews Chapter 10 verses 15 on we find written: ‘Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before, This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more. Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin. Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a  new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; And having an high priest over the house of God; Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching,’

We see that good advice as we look forward and we can make a commitment as we follow the life of Christ and make it our obligation that we will try and become more and more in the image of Christ.

“But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.”
