Through the fall of man, man had lost the perfection and harmony, which is imprinted into creation. Not only mankind who caused this, but all living things, yes, the whole creation came through this ruin. Since then have catastrophes, want, fear, sickness, struggle, frailty, and lastly death overpowered and enslaved the visible existence into seemingly unconquerable continuity, so that the world is unthinkable without these. Mankind, beast and plant life developed in the following ages; hunt, defense and survival strategies. Hunt and being hunted, consume and being devoured (food-chain) is the norm of selection, which since then dictates the destined life’s rhythm. Nevertheless, there exists in all creatures, knowingly or unknowingly, an instinctive yearning for security, true peace and everlasting life. (Romans 8:19) To quench this “hunger”, man, by means of his intelligence, science, technic, medicine, has since undertaken all conceivable means to better the quality of his life. And much he has achieved: the average age of man has risen. Many a sickness could be overcome. Man has learned to further control land, sea and air and use nature to his advantage. Even the grasp after the stars has in part been successful (moon landing, trial-landing on other planets etc.) But, with all this so-called progress, the world lays imprisoned in her selective existence-striving structures; people age and die, animal and plant species become extinct in spite active nature preservation. Nature is getting radically exploited by man, whereby again new destruction is called for (environment, climate). Through wars and terror strikes, streams of refugees increase. Beside conquered sicknesses, new seemingly unconquerable sicknesses pop up. The technical grand achievements cannot guard against disaster and catastrophes of nature of hardly known proportion. Man, beast and plants are powerless against such like (earthquakes, flood and avalanche catastrophes, cyclones etc.)

The bible reports very clearly about a new heaven and a new earth, where the struggle for existence, all pain and as well cries of war, are forever finished. Even death itself, will not exist any more (Revelation 21) That sounds (old fashioned), totally illusionary. Yes, dear reader, rightly read: Our temporary creation is from the sinful “old nature”, disfigured, ruined. But this first, from power of sin ravaged world will dissolve, everything will become new! There were and there still are, distinct signs and perspectives for truly seeking, in Christ believing people, who can open the window of creation a little crack.

In the book of books (bible) are written about happenings and situations in the Old, but mainly in the New Testament, which thread themselves like a red ribbon through a heavenly restoration. Some examples: through God’s command and guidance, Noah was able to bring his family and all kind of animals into safety before the flood, through the door of the ark. (In great danger, animals, even beasts of prey seek refuge by people!) Genesis 7:1-3 Biologically not absolute explicable, we hear of Balaam (Numbers 22:27-33), Elijah (1 Kings 17:4-6), Daniel (Daniel 6:17-23) and Jonah (Jonah 2), how they, through animals, were preserved, provided for, protected and rescued (animals have most sensitive organs of perception, like a sixth sense. Dolphins have rescued people from sharks. Let us also think of the faithful job horses and dogs perform etc.) The prophet Isaiah sees in a vision, a heavenly picture (Isaiah 11:6-9). Christ’s promised realm of peace, where man and beast will live in full harmony with one another, completely opposite to the present experience.

God’s people for example, crossing the Red Sea like on dry land (Exodus 14:21-28), the report of the three men in the fiery furnace (Daniel 3:21-27), Jesus and Peter walking on the water (Matthew 14:25-29), as well as the stilling of the stormy wind through Jesus (Matthew 8:23-27) are witnessing. Yes, the miracles of God’s Son did while here on earth – the lame He made walk again, the blind to see (Matthew 15:30), lepers cleansed (Luke 17:14) and even the dead awakened (John 11:23-44). All these things are to remind our deepest conscience, that the lost, healthy world, in which everything was good, will be back in the future.

The rules for the promised new world are set out through Jesus Christ. We find them in the fifth to the seventh chapters of Matthew, in the Sermon on the Mount. In part, they are in complete contrast to the sense of justice of our present sin entangled world. But only through Christ’s sacrifice on the cross and through His principle victory over death, is the new Way of Salvation, made a possibility! Therefore, the repenting thief on the cross did receive the promise of paradise (Luke 23:39-43). Hope of a new creation.

Signs, given through the Holy Ghost, of a future new world can be clearly acknowledged throughout the Christian history: Francis of Assisi – he not only preached the gospel to the poor, but also to the animals. Gerhard Teratogeny – the well know songwriter (I pray for the power of love) – Friedrich von Bodelschwingh – he gave all his love to the disabled.

Our planet globalisation is now a dominant factor. In politics, economy, ecology, technology, that a so called globalising in the way of Christianity (world mission) was made possible through confession, is a clear sign of the return of our Lord, Jesus Christ. By and by, will the whole Christiandom be united into a spiritual league by the Holy Ghost, in spite of negative and questionable tendencies.

Although, our comprehension ability and structure is still imprisoned in the old and dying creation. But all of God’s children, who seek Him and His salvation with all their heart, are already now in transit with the yearning for redemption waiting mute creation, to a glorious new existence in the Kingdom of God, where the old and the sinful will no more be remembered, because there will only be found the godly and the good.
