The Apostolic Christian doctrine and sacraments are confirmed in our text. The doctrine is not part of the world, and is not always the doctrine for all. (2 Thessalonians 3:2),“And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith.” There is clear exposition in scriptures on this doctrine, which we practice under the Grace of the Lord. Exclusively under the Grace!! Then we are not allowed to be high-minded one to another. If and when we practice humbleness, at the bottom, child of God, then the Holy Spirit will come into full practice in our lives. (Psalm 138:6),“Though the LORD be high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly: but the proud he knoweth afar off”. (Ephesians 4:30), “And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption”.

Let us hold fast our profession (Hebrews 4:14),“Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession”. This profession refers to the doctrine of Godliness (1 Timothy 6:3-5),“If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness; he is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmising’s, perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.” Fight the good fight of belief, grab on to eternal life, where to you are called and the good profession you confessed before many witnesses. (Hebrews 10:22), “Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.” What is full assurance of faith? According to the faith of God’s elect (Titus 1:1), “Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God’s elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness;” He saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost (Titus 3:5), “Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost.” (Hebrews 6:2), “Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.” (2 Timothy 1:6), and “the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands.”

Stay in the work of God so that He has a delight in your soul. Keep the Sabbath (Isaiah 58:13), leave the natural outside of the work of God as well as the vestry.

Be willing and delight yourself in His work. Then God shall cause thee to ride upon the high place of the earth!! (Isaiah 58:14).
