Our text tells us about the power of our Lord Jesus Christ. There is a short poem which explains this:
My Lord is so Strong
My God is so Mighty
There is nothing which
My God Cannot do.
It is for this reason that our Lord Jesus Christ gave an open invitation to all the mankind irrespective of cast, colour, creed, young and old. Jesus’ call is for all. We read in John 3:16. “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him, should not perished, but have ever-lasting life.”
Jesus has the power and authority over heaven and earth, rivers and mountains. He can do everything for us. The only thing is that we “Come to Him.”
Secondly, Jesus cares for us. Those who labour and are heavy laden, He will refresh them all. It is only possible if we accept Him as a Saviour.
Thirdly, Jesus loves us. Nobody takes care for somebody except he who has a love for somebody. The love of our Lord Jesus is without any excuse, without boundary and without burden. He gave His life for our sins. His love is eternal which will remain forever. Jesus is the symbol of God’s love.
Let us give our heart and life for this great Blessing because in spite of our sinful nature God’s love is abiding for each one of us. Lord Jesus came to this world to remind us that God’s love has no boundary. This is the precious news to us that “GOD IS LOVE.” By the Grace of our Heavenly Father, we can prepare ourselves to join our Lord Jesus at the time of His second coming so that we all may enter into His Glory.
