It is an obligation for all as we give thanks for our Sunday Schools to remember to teach all children of the love of God.

The love which God has for His Son, cannot be explained in words. No greater love was there before, and never shall be.

We should stay in this love! This is however, easier said than done. Our Lord wants to see His joy in us, this He promises will be complete in us. Surely He loves His Sunday School children with precisely the same love as that with which He loves us.

Should the case be that we do not have children attending Sunday School, our duty is still, according to the law of love, to bring a thanksgiving for them.

Is that not what the Biblical word means; it is more blessed to give than to receive.

What do we say about underprivileged children and orphans? Is this not in fact a deed of love when we reach into our pockets on this day?

This shall be so, if we keep these three requirements.

• If you keep My commandments, even as I have kept My Fathers commandments!
• If you love one another as I have loved you.
• If you do whatsoever I command you.

How can we fulfill these three requirements with ease?

We are no more servants who do not know. We are the Lord’s friends!

He has chosen us, we did not choose ourselves, therefore we stand directly under His love.

Now we should bear fruits in His work.

Mind our conduct in life.

Less doubting.

More faith.

More and more by our deeds, demonstrate to others by example, not words, we live as friends of Christ. We keep to His commandments. We love each other.

WE DO WHATSOEVER HE COMMANDS US!

I CORINTHIANS 14:7-12

“And even things without life giving sound, whether pipe or harp, except they give a distinction in the sounds, how shall it be known what is piped or harped? For if the trumpet give an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself to the battle? So likewise ye, except ye utter by the tongue words easy to be understood, how shall it be known what is spoken? For ye shall speak into the air. There are, it may be, so many kinds of voices in the world, and none of them is without signification. Therefore if know not the meaning of the voice, I shall be unto him that speaketh a barbarian, and he that speaketh shall be a barbarian unto me. Even so ye, forasmuch as ye are zealous of spiritual gifts, seek that ye may excel to the edifying of the church.”
