PEACE is the cherished desire of each and every one of us. It means calmness and coolness of mind, body and soul.
The disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ were very much frightened, perturbed and disturbed for the fear of the Jews. The doors were closed while Jesus came in the room and said, “Peace be unto you.”
How can we have peace? Whereas the need for peace has become urgent and important in the world today as war is not the solution to solve the problems. Instead of war we must be very peaceful with each other because without peace a lot of damages and untold sorrows can be caused to mankind.
Unfortunately, this can happen when we separate ourselves from our Lord Jesus, the prince of peace. We must come to Jesus as He said in Mathew 11:28, “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” This can make us calm and tension free to perform the right when we understand and accept the invitation of our Lord. He welcomes us.
Communication is the only source to find a solution as there is a saying, where there is will, there is a way. The best way to have a communication with our Heavenly Father are our prayers. When we come before Him with our thankful heart, it helps us to experience the blessing of His mercy. Although some time we face hard time, even then cannot stop us to enter in His Glory. So, we must do justice to ourselves in our thanksgiving, prayer life and always be honest to comfort our brothers and sisters spiritually and physically which brings peace, happiness and prosperity. Let us allow The Holy Spirit to have fellowship with us as our saviour and Lord Jesus has told us in John 8:31-32. “Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
Paul reminds us in Galatians 5:13 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.
